England's South West is a great place for your sailing, motor yacht, powerboat or navigation theory course. It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or more experienced, with access to sheltered waters and more challenging passages in open sea you can fulfil your ambitions here.
On practical courses you might visit towns steeped in maritime history such as Plymouth, Dartmouth and Falmouth or maybe even cruise to the beautiful Scilly Isles or across the Channel to Brittany or the Channel Islands. You will also enjoy some of the most stunning scenery on the south coast in the beautiful estuaries and creeks and if you are looking for unspoilt nature, then there are plenty of remote coves in which to indulge yourself. If good food and drink are more your thing, there are also plenty of good waterside pubs and restaurants to tempt you ashore in the evenings.
