Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012
The Volvo Ocean Race, one of the most demanding team sporting events in the world, starts in Alicante in October 2011. Teams will sail over 39,000 nautical miles crossing some of the planet's toughest oceans to finish 9 months later in Galway, Ireland in July 2012.
