Weymouth is a classic seaside resort with a small but vibrant harbour offering safe and easy access at all states of tide.  Situated in the heart of the old town, the harbour is surrounded by shops, chandlers, pubs and restaurants with Brewers Quay, a redeveloped Victorian brewery, and the sandy beach just a short walk away.

Weymouth Harbour is an ideal stopover for south coast cruising or a good departure point for a trip across the channel to Northern France or the Channel Islands.  The sailing waters here are world class and for this reason Weymouth and Portland are to host the London 2012 Olympic sailing and windsurfing events.

Visiting craft should be aware of the Condor Sea Cat ferry as well as commercial vessels entering and leaving the harbour.  There is also a rowing ferry across the harbour which has right of way.
