Brixham is situated at the southern end of sheltered Torbay, in the lee of Berry Head.  It is a picturesque old Devon fishing harbour with easy 24 hour access and boasts one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK coupled with a thriving fish market.  It is hardly surprising, therefore, that seafood is a speciality of the many restaurants in Brixham.  The harbour area is very much the focus of this popular cruising destination and here you will find a replica of Drake's Golden Hind as well as many unique shops and watering holes clustered around it.
